About Me.

I currently live and work in North West England with a beautiful girl and a very cute dog. I enjoy reading, generally Fantasy, Adventure and Historical fiction with a smattering of non-fiction History books, usually about Vikings, the American Civil War and World War 2. I am a fan of Marvel and 2000AD comics, as well as a lot of British 'Picture Library' comics like Commando and Football Picture Story Monthly. I have an Xbox One I play on occasionally, enjoy watching films and some quality TV shows like Game of Thrones and Gotham. Oh, and I love listening to Metal... especially cheesy power metal about Elves and Dragons...
At time of writing I'm in my mid-30's and collecting miniatures since I was given Heroquest for Christmas in the late-80's. Of course, I was still a little too young at that time and my interest didn't begin in earnest until around 1994 when I wandered into a Games Workshop store in my home city. I came out with a box of plastic Skeletons for a fiver and have been hooked ever since (with a couple of brief breaks due to beer/girls/life).

These days I mostly love and play Bolt Action and fight the good fight to keep Warhammer Fantasy Battle alive! I am an avid 'Middlehammer' enthusiast and love getting hold of old miniatures from the time I first started in the hobby. In addition I thoroughly enjoy Frostgrave, Blood Bowl and Necromunda and am being pulled into Star Wars Legion. I like to break up the miniature gaming with board games (Carcasonne, Star Wars Rebellion, Descent) and CCG's like Magic: The Gathering.
